The Social And Economic Advantages Of VR-Based Higher Education

Tech entrepreneur Sar Haribhakti argues that Virtual Reality technology could revolutionise home schooling by offering a virtual class room education at a fraction of the price of attending college/university. This would not only open up career opportunities to those who cannot attend higher education but also provide students with the opportunity to graduate debt-free; an obvious plus in a world where tuition fees continue to rise but salaries remain stagnant. In order for VR education to take off, however, employers must let go of the hard held belief that a traditional education (based more on social experiences rather than actual learning) leads to more 'learned' graduates .
