Democratisation of knowledge

Encouraging STEM education in developing countries could bring tremendous economic growth by creating innovation centers and competitive markets and help people escape poverty. However, due to the high costs of resource intensive STEM degrees, the quality and offering of these degrees in the developing world are very limited. By dramatically reducing the cost per student associated with the traditional STEM curriculum and negating the need for a physical lab space, Weird Science Lab makes these subjects more accessible than ever before and increases the quality of education in the emerging regions.

WSL is conscious of the practical bars to the adoption of technology in the emerging regions of the world: power, connectivity, training development and sustainability, and ensures all innovations are fit-for-purpose.
